Campaign Poster

Periodically, I like to photo manipulate a picture. This usually involves a picture of myself as I am most comfortable in defacing my own image. Awhile back, I made the comment that I want to run for US President. This would be possible in 2024 as I will meet the age requirement.

Adopting the style of the Obama Hope poster, I created my self-illustration from an online tutorial. This composition required a lot of tweaking as the different vector pieces did not align exactly. Furthermore, I noticed the original poster had a textured look. I took some newspaper textures, changed their corresponding layer modes, and used a mask effect to partially reveal them.

Vector Self

Vector Self

Decided to create a vector illustration based on a photograph. It wasn’t my intention to use my photo but I didn’t feel comfortable in messing with another person’s likeness.

Roomies -comic strip

SOFTWARE: Adobe Photoshop

When I look back on some of my experiences, I tend to think of the events as a panel from a cartoon strip. That is the purpose of this strip. Pardon my sense of humor if don’t fully grasp some of the jokes. I, like many of the things I find amusing, am an acquired taste.
